I am building a network of Missouri Maple Syrup producers, and informing Missouri landowners about the possibility of making maple syrup as a hobby or for sale at farmers’ markets, to better use this resource in our state.

Maple syrup is a delicious, unprocessed, local alternative to corn-syrup-based syrup. It contains no additives and is made by boiling sap from maple trees, which concentrates the sugar and flavor.
Missouri producers follow the recommended standards of Vermont and other eastern states to ensure quality. Some Missouri syrup is certified organic/natural.
