About Us
St. James Winery is one of the oldest, largest and most awarded wineries in Missouri. Founded in 1970 by the Hofherr family, St. James Winery produces wine and juice for the Direct to Consumer and Wholesale market for distribution in 25 states. Recognized as one of the top 15 most awarded wineries in the world by the International Wine Writers Association, St. James purpose is to grow the highest quality grapes and make the highest quality wines possible. Located in St. James, our farm to table restaurant and tasting room receive over 100,000 visitors a year. We offer tours, tasting and Missouri made specialty foods items for purchase in our winery tasting room. Our tasting room features small lots of wines produced from grapes from our R&D vineyard as well as our extensive sweet, semi-sweet and dry wines. Open year round except Christmas and Thanksgiving we welcome you to enjoy the wine lifestyle with us in St. James.

Locations
Consumers can purchase our wines directly from our winery tasting room, on-line through our website and in most major retailers in the Midwest. We are open 7 days a week except Christmas and Thanksgiving. Our hours of operation vary by season but are generally open from 8am to 6pm in the summer and 10am to 5pm in the winter.
