About Us
The Community Farmers Market @ LAMP is a seasonal, monthly, events-based market that highlights neighborhood and regional agricultural producers. Our market is located on a nonprofit social service campus referred to as Linwood Area Ministry Place (LAMP). Our market is unique in that we integrate social service resources with Missouri grown produce giving greater access for residents of the neighborhoods we serve. The market has a community garden and a shared use kitchen which allows for cooking demonstrations and gardening programming for our customers. Our market strives to give better access to Missouri grown produce to all our customers by accepting EBT/SNAP and participate in the Double up Food Bucks program. The market also hosts vendors that can accept Senior Farmers Market Nutrition vouchers allowing seniors greater access to healthy locally grown specialty crops. The Community Farmers Market @ LAMP is a champion for neighborhood agriculture and social service support.
Product Description
The Community Farmers Market @ LAMP hosts a variety of Missouri grown producers as well as startup businesses and social service resources. Our farmers are either certified organic or adhere to sustainable farming practices. Most of our farmers at the market have built their farming systems within blocks of the market. In fact, if you come to our market you could visit the farms that grew your produce and not have to leave the community. The Community Farmers Market @ LAMP is the perfect setting to enjoy hyperlocal specialty crops and meet residents from the neighborhoods we serve.
