About Us
Hinton Family Farm Sunflower Patch began as a personal project simply to plant sunflowers and enjoy their beauty. We soon realized that we could easily share that beauty with our community. It is our way of adding a little joy to the landscape and our world!
We weren't always a sunflower farm though! Over the past 77 years, the Hinton family has farmed the same property. Wheat, soybeans and corn have been our main crops, but we aren't strangers to livestock either! Farmer Chuck has fond memories of raising hogs, cows and chickens.
We hope you'll join us as we celebrate farming and the simpler things in life. There is no entry fee to the patch, but there will be a donation box available by the entrance to the field. All proceeds will go to the Clinton Animal Shelter (another passion of the farmer and his family).
