About Us
In the 1990s, my parents decided to go back to their roots. We would have to produce at a very large scale to be successful in the commercial sector, so my father decided we should focus on quality. We changed our genetic program and our nutrition program. We became Certified Humane®. We never confine any animals — ‘everybody’ has pasture access — and we chose to focus on Berkshire pigs for their quality. Mark and Rita's youngest son David and his wife Kristin (Propst) Newman own and operate the farming operation.
Product Description
All animals on Newman Farm are humanely raised on pasture. All-natural Heritage pork has more marbling, resulting in more tender and juicy meat.
