About Us
Cedar Wind Orchard is a family operated orchard in Callaway County, Missouri. We planted our first fruit trees in 1984 and currently have approximately 400 fruit trees. The majority of our orchard is apple trees, but we do have other types of fruit bearing trees. Throughout the years we have focused on planting heritage apples and currently have 50 varieties of apples in our orchard.
Product Description
Our goal through the years has been to grow heritage varieties of apples to sell at the local markets. Some of our varieties are: Roxbury Russet, Golden Russet, McIntosh, Winesap, Spitzenburg, Wolf River, Arkansas Black, Mammoth Black Twig plus others. Additionally we use our unique varieties to press fresh cider. We also grow peaches, plums, apricots, European pears, Seckel pears and Asian pears. Plus we make apple butter and peach jam to sell during the market season.
