Product Description
We specialize in lavender, and we also raise chickens, tend honeybee hives, and grow blackberries, elderberries, luffa, sunflowers and more.
We believe in responsible and sustainable farming. The lavender plants at Battlefield Lavender are never treated with pesticides or herbicides. We hand pull weeds, and the fields don’t draw pests, but instead attract a wondrous number of pollinators.
We are proud that our home and farm is carbon negative through a 14-kilowatt solar grid-tie system, and all fossil fuel use is offset twice over by our forest, which covers 60% of our property.
Locations
Our farm is located at 20601 N. Rangeline Rd, Centralia, Missouri. Our hours vary seasonally, check Facebook and www.BattlefieldLavender.com for details. You can also find us at the Saturday Columbia Farmers Market, and our lavender is beautifully displayed for sale at Clovers Natural Market on East Broadway in Columbia.
