About Us

Explore more than 2,400 plants and 16 varieties of lavender in Battlefield Lavender’s 1.3 miles of lavender rows. We create beautiful handmade bath and body products, home decor and more. When the field is in bloom, a spectacular array of pollinators visit our field, particularly in late spring and early summer, including butterflies, and honey and bumblebees. Find our family-owned farm just 25 minutes northeast of Columbia in Centralia. We are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. 7 days a week. Check Facebook and BattlefieldLavender.com for upcoming events, including You-Pick in June!

Product Description

We are Missouri's largest lavender farm, and we specialize in 16 lavender varieties of different colors, scents and sizes. Our gift shop is open year-round and features hundreds of our own handmade products as well as other Missouri farmers and other small businesses in the US. We offer public and private tours, crafting, essential oil distillation demonstrations and more. At the farm we also raise chickens, tend honeybee hives, and grow blackberries, elderberries, luffa, Missouri native wildflowers and more. We believe in responsible and sustainable farming. Our lavender is never treated with pesticides or herbicides. We hand pull weeds, and the fields don’t draw pests, but instead attract a wondrous number of pollinators. We are proud that our home and farm is carbon negative through a 14-kilowatt solar grid-tie system, and all fossil fuel use is offset twice over by our forest, which covers 60% of our property.

Locations

You can find us at 20601 N. Rangeline Rd, Centralia, Missouri. We are open year-round. Check Facebook and www.BattlefieldLavender.com for current hours. You can also find us at the Saturday Columbia Farmers Market, and our lavender is beautifully displayed for sale at Clovers Natural Market on East Broadway in Columbia.
