SPREAD Tomato Jam is owned and operated by Stacey Hawkins and Ann Kelly. We began making tomato jam and sharing with friends and family when the backyard garden had an abundance of tomatoes. We specialize in interesting flavors and utilize only the freshest ingredients. We offer one-of-a-kind, handcrafted and naturally-preserved tomato jam.
During the Missouri growing season, we work with local farmers. Our product is preserved using traditional methods so you won't find any artificial ingredients of any kind. The canning process is a slow food process. It renders patience, but the end results in food that tastes like tradition, a new tradition.
SPREAD Tomato Jam is so good that you can eat it with a spoon right out of the jar while waiting for your bread to toast in the morning. It's great on burgers in the place of ketchup or served alongside a grilled lamb or salmon. It also pairs exceptionally well with cheeses and cured meats.
The spice complements sweeter flavors such as corn (mix some into grilled corn stripped off the cob for a spectacular side) or caramelized onions. Dab some on pizza, top with the onions and some blue cheese and be wowed.
