Storm Dancer Farm raises pastured livestock on 50 acres in Clay County. We value continuous and sustainable improvement to our land, care and concern for our livestock, and connections to the communities around us.
The farm was started in 2015 with a few hobby goats, cows, and chickens; expanded to include a goat grazing business in 2018; and added farm tours, workshops, and youth camps in 2020.
We produce pastured meat, poultry, eggs, and milk. Our herd of kiko/boer cross goats are "employed" by our targeted grazing business, Goats On The Go – KCMO, and spend summers clearing brush from clients' properties, reducing chemical usage and producing extremely sustainable meat.
Our herd of Oberhasli and Alpine dairy goats provide milk during the spring, summer, and early fall; we sell raw and pasteurized milk, and goat-milk soaps. We also raise a few beef and run flocks of chickens and turkeys for eggs and meat. We are not 100% grassfed but graze our animals as much as we can.
