Founded in 2011, Bridge Bread is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to the mission of transforming lives of people living on the streets with no place to call home.
Bridge Bread offers a supportive wage and job skills training to help positively impact the lives of its bakers by putting “Hope in the Baking.”
By fulfilling our organization’s mission we are providing our bakers the chance to put hope back into their lives, experience pride in their work and develop positive, trusting and cooperative relationships.
- Baked Goods
We make artisan bread, buns, cinnamon rolls, bagels and cakes.
Our sourdough is vegan with only flour, water, salt and starter.
We make brioche breads and cinnamon rolls the old-fashioned way by hand with simple ingredients, plus we make commercial dinner rolls and buns using high-tech clean-label enzymes to ensure quality and enhance shelf life.
Our bagels are authentic kettle-boiled New York style 'water bagels' with no artificial ingredients.
We are located in the heart of the vibrant Cherokee Street community just west of Jefferson at 2639 Cherokee and convenient from I-64, I-70, I-44 and I-55 in the near south side of St. Louis City.
