About Us

Opening in March 2026, the Buzz & Bones Farm Wild Bees Research Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing wild bee research, conservation, and environmental education in the state of Missouri. Situated within Buzz & Bones Farm’s immersive agritourism, wildlife, and prehistoric learning environment, the center uniquely blends modern ecological science with engaging, family-friendly experiences.

The research center serves as a hub for hands-on studies of native wild bee species, pollinator behavior, and habitat restoration, supporting critical efforts to protect declining pollinator populations. Visitors and researchers alike will explore these initiatives alongside the farm’s educational dinosaur trail system, which features themed walking paths connecting dinosaur habitats such as Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Stygimoloch, Raptor, Carnotaurus, and T-Rex areas.

These interconnected trails are designed to guide guests through both prehistoric exhibits and living ecosystems, illustrating the evolution of life, biodiversity, and the importance of balance between species—past and present. Interpretive signage along the trails links dinosaur history, modern conservation science, and pollinator ecology, creating a cohesive and memorable learning journey.
