About Us
Piney River Brewing Company was founded in 2010 by Joleen and Brian Durham on their 80-acre farm in South Central Missouri. The award-winning brewery is dedicated to making distinctive craft beers that celebrate the Ozarks.
They revived a 1940's era barn made from red and white oak trees harvested off the property to hold the original brewery and the brewery tasting room. Piney River Brewing was the first microbrewery in the state of Missouri to can beer at their brewery, and today Piney River's canned craft beer can be found across Missouri and Arkansas.
Piney River Brewing has also won several awards for their handcrafted beers including a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival and a Gold at the World Beer Cup.
The brewery is located on an 80-acre working beef cattle farm owned by the Durham's. The cattle eat some of the spent grains from the production brewing facility.

Piney River Brewing Company makes handcrafted, award-winning beer that celebrates the Ozarks. The brewery is located on an 80-acre beef cattle farm in the Ozarks. A 1940's era barn on the farm is home to the brewery tasting room--The BARn.
The BARn is open every weekend--Friday from 2 to 9 pm, Saturday from 2 to 7 pm and Sunday from 12 to 5 pm. Tours of the brewery are available on Saturday. The brewery is family-friendly; a non-alcoholic homemade root beer is available. Visitors to the BARn are able to enjoy samples, pints or purchase fresh draft beer to take home. They can sit on the deck of the BARn and watch the cattle graze in the pasture and the sun set on the hills.
Area lodging is available--B&B, hotel, resort with cabin, campground and RV hook up. Float trips are also available on the Big Piney River or nearby Ozarks National Scenic Riverways. Shuttle service to/from some area lodging is also available.

Piney River Brewing Company products are available across Missouri and Arkansas through distribution to bars and restaurants and in retail convenience, grocery and liquor stores.
