Jimmy & Brenda Story founded The Blue Hill Company to have the most unique and fun U-Pick venue in Mid-Missouri. Brenda's award winning jams soon became the logical next step in adding value to their blueberries. The retail store is scheduled to open in 2015.
Established in 2010 The Blue Hill Company was founded by Jimmy and Brenda Story. With a passion for farming, preparing high-quality foods for their family and a love for helping grow a strong community, they set out on a journey together to make a difference.
Brenda served her Blue Banero Jam at a party one night and it instantly became a requested favorite among her family and friends. Soon they started asking if they could purchase it for their gatherings. What makes our product so special? "It's Not Ya Mama's Jam!" Our family and friends loved the sweet heat and the versatile ways to use it . . . Not just on bread with peanut butter.
Jimmy and Brenda bring a wealth of knowledge through their decades of experience in the business and agricultural world helping small producers along with managing the family farm. They are supporters of Missouri grown products and keeping it local. The Blue Hill Company aims to offer high-quality blueberry products fresh from the farm while providing a memorable experience to customers both locally and abroad.

Currently The Blue Hill Company is producing blueberries and blackberries. Elderberries will be ready for harvest in 2015/2016. Blueberry products are also the focus in the retail store.
The Blue Hill Company is a small batch food manufacturer, specializing in jam, jelly and preserves located in Rolla, MO. We primarily produce and buy raw blueberries to manufacture value-added jams and fillings.
Our blueberries are grown on the farm or purchased directly from other Missouri producers who meet our quality standards. Our jams are unique and have lots of fruit in every bite. . . With just a little heat to balance the sweetness.
We package our jams into 8 oz jars and our fillings are packaged into gallon buckets. The final products are suitable for sale and exportation.
Opening soon to the public!
