About Us

Our storefront is in a renovated original downtown building. Right inside the front door, you'll see a bulk candy bin that was once a hog feeder. The tables are made from hog waterers. The "coffee bin" is a former grain bin from right outside of town. The store is filled with MO products and old time candy. Monday and Wednesday, we offer a lunch special. If you are hungry in the morning, we have a pastry/cookie case, as well as grab and go items in the refrigerator. Or you can get a bagel or yogurt parfait. 

Paula Dene is a retired middle school science teacher and a Brusnwick native. The entire building was renovated by her husband Tom and her family members (Dad, Stepmom, and daughters, plus a lot of family and friends who pitched in!)
