In 1974, my father bought the pecan farm where I now live. He lost it to the bank in 1984 during the farm crisis, and I bought it back in 2010. In July of 2019, my son Daniel and I started Missouri Organic Pecan Company after successfully conceptualizing and managing a different organic pecan company for 15 years.
Now we're back in business with the U.S. native organic pecan - a very special pecan that is the most sustainable food produced in the United States. Some of our trees are 250 - 300 years old and continue producing tasty nuts as they have through all the wars, recessions, the good times and bad, that this country has seen.
