Harold’s Vittles, LLC is a family owned and operated business in the heart of the Ozarks, Salem, Missouri. After many years of smoking and grilling, and trying to pair the meat with a perfect sauce we came up with our Original Sweet & Tangy Sauce. Our friends encouraged us to mass produce the sauce.
We decided to produce the sauce, name it after our pet pig, "Harold" and open a restaurant. The restaurant shut down in 2008, but we continued to get sauce request. Over the next few years, we did catering and special events. In 2017, we took the plunge and started to sell our sauce on a larger scale. During this time we have also developed our Spicy Habanero sauce and packaged our Dry Rub.
We recently have won awards in the World Hot Sauce, BBQ Sauce and Salsa Competition in Baton Rouge, LA. Our Spicy Habanero Sauce place second and our Dry Rub placed third.
We produce sorghum based BBQ Sauces in 16 oz. bottles that are gluten free and do not contain high fructose corn syrup or trans fats. Our Original Sweet and Tangy sauce compliments a wide variety of foods. The Spicy Habanero also goes well on any food you want to kick up with a little spice and heat. Both sauces glaze well or can be used as a dipping sauce.
Harold’s Dry Rub is an excellent light, sweet flavored seasoning that comes in a 6 oz. shaker jar. Like our sauces, our award winning rub is gluten free and does not contain high fructose corn syrup or trans fats.
