About Us
Engine 51 Smokers, LLC began in 2007 with a strong desire to make their finest slow-smoked barbeque meats available to others. Engine 51 Smokers, LLC became a mobile vendor of smoked meats, including brisket, pulled pork, chicken and ribs in St. James, MO selling their products to customers at local businesses and community fairs and festivals. The business has grown into a Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) competitor and also a catering company which includes catering corporate and social events in surrounding communities, as well as the St. Louis area. During the process, we created two different rubs which are simple, yet very flavorful to be used on our award-winning meats for all catering and vending events, as well as use for KCBS competitions, and on vegetables and general cooking.
Product Description
Engine 51 Smokers has two rubs (spices) which we developed. McCarthy Spice in St. Louis, MO produces and packages the products. Our Bronc Bustin' Rubs and Rooster Rub are used in producing award-winning smoked meats for customers and competitions and for resale home use. Engine 51 Smokers also uses and sells Sticky Pig Barbeque Sauce which is produced in Centralia, MO.
Locations
Currently consumers can purchase our products during our vending times and via drop-ship anytime. We are looking into establishing a permanent location to sell our food products and rubs and prepare catering items. Many local grocery stores have approached us wanting to carry our rubs. We are joining AgriMissouri to help market our products in local stores and assist in getting bar codes for out items.
