About Us
Fred Haue arrived in Pacific, MO by train in 1868. Twenty-four years later, he and his wife bought 80 acres near Pacific, and soon Fred and his sons became well-known in the area for their fine livestock, fruits, vegetables and flowers. They won a silver medal at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis. More than 100 years later, the property is owned by the same family and that silver medal still hangs in their office.
Crooked Creek Beef has been raising cattle the same way the days of their great-grandfather for more than 20 years. Crooked Creek Beef likes combining the best ideas of yesterday and today.
The owners have degrees in agriculture from the University of Missouri. We believe in healthy ideas- and it just so happens that when it comes to raising cattle, the old ideas are the healthiest.
Product Description
At Crooked Creek Beef, we rely on Mother Nature, Fresh Air, Lush Grass, Sunshine, Local Grains balanced with mineral to produce lean trim cuts of beef.
Crooked Creek Beef is sold as halves, quarters, individual cuts and smaller bundles.
"From Conception to Consumption". We realize the value of Angus genetics in our quest to provide customers with a great eating experience. Working closely with a local processor, Crooked Creek Beef has taken their beef straight from the farm and into homes and fine restaurants of beef-eating consumers in and around the St. Louis area.
