About Us

We continue the Missouri farming legacy started by my great grandparents, grandparents and parents. My late father believed that the hard work of farming and gardening was a noble calling. Together with my mother, my wife and I continue this proud tradition providing the freshest garden produce, using traditional heirloom varieties whenever possible. We also make available to residents of south central Missouri, plump juicy blackberries and fresh whole Jersey milk bursting with cream. My mother lovingly continues to make available whole goat milk for those having difficulty drinking cow's milk or that simply prefer it for their health.

Product Description

Through our 'Grandma and Grandpa Kennedy's' label, we continue to provide a wide variety of farm fresh heirloom vegetables, juicy Missouri grown blackberries, and pasture raised fresh whole Jersey milk (never any antibiotics or hormones). Our five year business plan includes; expanding our blackberry cultivars to be able to provide greater variety to customers, developing nutritious Gogi (Wolf) berries, and increasing garden produce production, including providing heirloom seeds. It includes experimenting with ancient grain production such as Einkorn and Emmer, including utilizing legumes to provide nitrogen, either in rotation or as undercover to further avoid undesirable fertilizers or chemicals. Our mission is to provide the residents of southern Missouri with the freshest in vegetables, berries, milk and butter.
