About Us
Inspired by a chemistry class and her own sensitive skin, LaRee DeFreece made our first batch of soap in 2001. After much research and experimentation, she created our basic recipe and named us Herbaria. We sold the soaps at craft fairs, to much acclaim. Since then, we have developed other all natural products such as insect repellents, deodorants, and moisturizers. We make all of our products by hand at our shop in St. Louis. Today, Herbaria ships to customers in 50 states and overseas.
Product Description
Herbaria is devoted to creating all-natural vegan products which are healthy for people, pets and the environment. Our principle product is bar soap, free of synthetic fragrance, colorants and preservatives. All our soaps are moisturizing, long lasting and luxuriously lathering. Many customers are Herbaria addicts. They insist our soaps have solved their skin problems, such as eczema and rosacea.
We also make other environmentally safe and kind-to-body products such as deodorant, moisturizers, aftershaves, bath bombs and bath salts, Goodbye Headache, a natural remedy. Citronella Mist and Ant Away are our popular all natural insect repellents.
