About Us

Terrell Creek Farm LLC is a small goat cheese dairy owned and operated by Lesley and Barry Million. Located east of Springfield near Fordland, our farm is nestled in the heart of the Ozark Hills and bathed in the beauty of nature.

It is our appreciation of this beauty that inspires us and guides our every decision and practice here at Terrell Creek Farm. We employ sustainable organic methods in caring for our land, our animals and in producing our artisan cheeses. We are very particular in the management of our herd of Nubian and Alpine dairy goats. They have unlimited access to fresh artesian spring water and year round access to pasture and browse. We use a rotational grazing system to promote the health of our land as well as to offer the most nutritious forage for our goats. Our herd is also supplemented with local hay, organic minerals and herbs and our own custom blend of organic grains.

As a result, our healthy and happy 'girls' produce pure fresh milk that reflects the distinctiveness of the Ozark Hill region.

It is our mission to produce world class cheeses while employing environmentally sustainable and humane practices for the well-being and happiness of our goats and the health of our land. In keeping with those beliefs, we are proud to be Animal Welfare Approved.

Our cheese is handcrafted in small batches and individually packaged. Each stage of production is carried out with great attention to detail and quality.

Product Description

We produce traditional 'Chevre', which is what most people consider 'goat cheese'. We offer it plain as well as several flavored varieties. Our goat milk Feta took 'Best in Show' of ALL dairy products at the 2013 Missouri State Fair!

We make a Crottin (an Ozark version of the famous Crottin de Chavignol, from the Loire valley region of France), as well as an ash coated version that we call 'Chimney Rock'. We also produce aged cheeses, such as 'Jackie Blue' (our goats milk blue cheese) as well as gouda and cheddar.

Locations

Our cheese is available in Springfield at all three Mama Jeans locations, Brown Derby International Wine Center and Homegrown Food. You can also find our cheese at 'Herb Shop' in Branson West, Nature's Wonders and Prairie Market in Harrison Arkansas.
