About Us
Edg-Clif is a third generation farm started in 1926. All the original and pre-existing buildings are being transformed to Winery, Brewery, special events venue, and vacation cottages. Now growing our own grapes to make hand crafted & award winning wines. We also have our own Craft Brewery and sell beer on tap and in growlers. Our vacation cottages can be found on Airbnb. We continue as a family business as we approach our centennial year.
Product Description
We make 16 different wines from dry to sweet. Our signature wines are Chambourcin, Vidal Blanc and Vignoles which are grown on site. We have both Oak aged wines and wines finish without oak. One special small batch wine, Perry, is made from pears grown in our Orchard. Our craft brewery produces 8-10 different styles of beer, such as Cream Ale, Blondie, Pilsner, IPA, Farmhouse Ale, Rye Ale, Bees Knees (honey brown ale), Black Lager, Oatmeal Cream Stout and Porter. Six are on tap to taste and purchase. We also have jellies and juice produced from farm raised produce.
Locations
Edg-Clif, located 5 miles from Potosi, off AA at 10035 Edg-Clif Dr, is open Friday, Sat & Sun, 11-5 for visitors to do tastings and tours. We encourage guests to bring their own picnics or purchase a basket of snacks that includes a local beef sausage. We feature live music by local musicians on all Saturdays from May-October and Sunday’s during Holiday weekends.
