About Us

In 2010, Janet Ansehl Shulman borrowed a restaurant kitchen in Saint Louis, Missouri, where she created her original melt-in-your-mouth recipe of Salted Caramels. Her immediate success allowed her to move into an abandoned Masonic Lodge that she transformed into a full-blown production facility for her much sought-after Salted Caramels. 

Hundreds of supermarkets, gifts shops, and restaurants sold her multiple flavors of salted caramels in her prized gold, gift boxes including her variety box, “The Taste of Saint Louis.” 

In 2015, she moved her facility to her own shop where she currently sells directly to the public, creates innovative flavors and products and caters to personal and corporate gift giving. Today, her product line includes hundreds of flavors of Salted Caramel Kisses, Deluxe Dipped Apples, Gourmet Caramel Corns, Turtles, Caramel Pretzels, Sandwich Cookies, Dipped Strawberries and her newest recipe, English Toffee Krack (smooth, butter-crunch toffee, Missouri Pecans and drizzled dark and white chocolate).
