About Us
Located in the rich soils of the Missouri River bottoms, L & R Farms is a third and fourth generation family owned and operated business developed for local produce production and marketing. We are dedicated in our mission to provide top quality, fresh, locally grown produce to meet the needs of our consumers.
Product Description
L & R Farms produces a variety of seasonal fruit and vegetables, tomatoes, sweet corn, pumpkins, ornamental gourds, soybeans and field corn.
Locations
Pony Express Farmers' Market - located in the East Hills Parking Lot off Woodbine, St. Joseph, MO. Open every Wednesday & Saturday 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. (end of April to end of October).
Parkville Farmers' Market located near the English Landing downtown Parkville, MO. Open every Saturday 7 a.m. to noon (end of April to end of October); every Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m. (mid-June to mid-September).
Atchison Farmers' Market located on 4th and 6th Streets on Main in Atchison, KS. Open every Saturday 8 a.m. to noon and on Wednesdays 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (mid-May to end of October).
