About Us
Jowler Creek is Missouri's first green vineyard and winery. We use green technologies, such as solar power, to make our wine and use sheep to control weeks and chickens to reduce insects in our 7-acre sustainable vineyard. We currently make eight award-winning wines in various styles ranging from dry to sweet.
We're located just 30 minutes north of downtown Kansas City. We are currently open Thursdays from 11:00 – 6:00 and Fridays and Saturdays 11:00 – 9:00. Our tastings are from 11-7 and Sundays 11:00 – 6:00. You can also find our wines at more than 75 locals stores in Kansas and Missouri.
Product Description
Chambourcin - This medium-bodied dry red wine is loaded with spicy oak and earthy undertones. Drink it today with wild game, pasta or fruit cobbler.
Norton - Here's Missouri's first sustainable wine. It's rich, bold cherry fruit and sweet oak characteristics make it the perfect mate with spicy Kansas City BBQ, smoked meat and bratwurst.
Traminette - This drier style white wine combines floral scents with hints of pear, apple and citrus flavors. It pairs with seafood, chicken or quail.
Vignoles - This wine is rather exotic and loaded with crisp flavors of pineapple, apricot and honey. It's the perfect mate to a lunch out on the deck or a hot and spicy supper.
Butterfly Blush - This blush is bursting with bold, fruit flavor and finishes with a flutter of sweetness. Enjoy it today with baby Swiss cheese, chicken or angel food cake.
Red Cock-a-Doodle-Do - This wine is a fruity, sweet-style blend of our sustainably-grown Norton and American Concord grapes. It's the perfect mate for your bbq, fish fry or spicy chicken wings.
Nort (Premium Dessert) - This one-of-a-kind blend of Norton grapes and premium brandy will warm your spirits on a cool night. Scents of blackberries, plums and chocolate fill your nose. It begs to be sipped with chocolate desserts, nuts or blue cheese.

Get there from downtown Kansas City (about 30 minutes):
- Take I-29 North past the KCI airport and Platte City
- Take exit 25 for County Hwy E toward Camden Point
- Turn right at Elm Grove Road
- Turn left at Jowler Creek Road
- We are the first driveway on the right
