Davis Meat Processing is a family owned and operated processing plant on the eastern edge of Montgomery County. The business was started by Joe & Cherilyn Davis in Jonesburg in 1984 and is still operated by them. We have been a state inspected facility for over 15 years for individuals and farmers. The plants main building was an old pole barn that was transformed into a processing plant. The plant has since then been added onto six times, the last addition was done in 2016 to accommodate our increased business and expand our retail area.
We harvest and process beef, hogs, lambs, and goats. We do custom processing, custom inspected processing for farmers market customers, deer processing, wholesale and have a small retail area. Davis Meat Processing also produces high quality specialty sausages and bratwurst, ready to eat and pre-cooked and Heat n Eat dinners. We pride ourselves on our high quality products and services as well as cleanliness in the plant.

We process the animal from start to finish. We fabricate fresh cuts as well as further processed product. We make some of the best hickory smoked bone-in hams, hickory smoked bacon, smoked pork chops, and hickory smoked turkey and chickens in the state of Missouri. We make over 30 types of bratwurst and link sausage fresh, smoked or pre-cooked. We also process award winning summer sausages, snack sticks and jerky. We are not opposed to trying different products. We have also started carrying locally raised beef and pork that can be purchased by the package.

Take the Jonesburg exit (mile marker 183) off Interstate 70. Go to the north service road and make a left on NN. Go about 3/8 of a mile and look for the red and white tin building on the left. (No longer closed for lunch through the week).
