“Enjoy a Taste of the Country” with Brown’s Country Meats. We raise and market our products from our family farm northeast of Centralia. Our meat is state inspected and individually packaged for retail sale. When we started Brown’s Country Meats in October of 2002, we had actively pursued meat quality testing on our Chester White swine herd for several years. We wanted our pork products to taste good as well as be nutritious. By request, beef products were added in 2003 and come from our Shorthorn cattle. All our animals receive excellent care and balanced diets. Our mission statement: “We are committed to providing a high-quality meat product to the marketplace and the consumer. We will continue to emphasize our genetic lines to provide a tender and juicy meat product that will be a tasteful and enjoyable eating experience.” You’re always welcome at Brown’s Country Meats!

Brown’s Country Meats, LLC offers retail cuts of farm fresh pork and beef, cured pork products, summer sausage, and ready-to-eat items such as our shredded pork. Gift meat bundles are offered during the holidays. We also work with area schools to offer our summer sausage through their FFA sales programs. Whole hogs or sides and quarters of beef are offered as well as custom orders for BBQ's, family reunions, weddings, etc. Also available is our cookbook, "Enjoy A Taste of the Country" featuring pork and beef recipes and a special section of family favorite side dishes and desserts.
Brown’s Country Meats, LLC is located 10 miles northeast of Centralia or 14 miles northwest of Mexico. From Centralia, take Rt. C to Rt. T, turn left on County Rd. 217, first house on the right. From Mexico, take Hwy 22 west to Rt. E, Rt. E to Rt. T, left on Rt. T, right on County Rd. 217, first house on the right.
We can also be found at the Mexico Farmers Market in Mexico at 3001 South Clark (Orscheln's parking lot) from April - October on Saturday mornings from 8 to 11 am.
